As with most photographers, this time of year is more than crazy. We build ourselves up for it, know it’s coming but no matter what, I still can’t keep up with it all! This blog, which I hope at least someone reads (:waves hi: comment, let me know you’re here!!) is one thing that can be neglected. Holiday cards, client proofs, orders, etc can’t be! So here’s a bit of what’s been going on for the past month or so!

As much fun as toddlers can be, this family knew how to laugh. I’m still not sure if we ever got to the punchline of the joke which made the outtakes of laughter even more fun. And Granny, goodness she had some pep, I loved her! Gorgeous family both inside and out, it was a pleasure B family!!

I first met this gal just under a year ago and to this day still get compliments on her beauty. Her mom and dad are probably the easiest people to work with and it shines through. We tried for a cake smash but this little cutie wasn’t so sure of the sweet stuff, that’s for sure! Despite our best attempts at encouraging, she just wasn’t into it! Either way, she’s gorgeous and I enjoyed figured out what made her smile

How has it been a year already? I first photographed this little beauty just shy of a few weeks old and I’ve had the privilege to watch her grow throughout the year. \Despite a rocky start to our session we seemed to capture plenty of cute smiles from little Miss G. She is quite the ham in front of the camera Another adorable family! And on that note, my last for the holiday season!! I have a newborn due right before Christmas, but other than that, I’m taking a short and IMO well deserved break. Enjoy your holidays!!

This look cracked me up!! She would tighten her body, make fists and just scream a happy scream, too funny!

Choo choo! I’ve had more train-loving boys (and my girl too!) this year than I can count. No matter what kind of mood they are in, we seem to get the best smiles when we walk around the corner and see the train, I LOVE those smiles. Not the cheesy plastered on “say cheese” smile, *these* are the smiles that I live to capture!!! Mom is just about 30 weeks pregnant and glowing beyond belief!

Oh my goodness, these boys are just too adorable and sweet for words! I’ve known these boys for a little while now and I have to admit, I’ve wanted to photograph them solely for their amazing eyes. They were smitten with the train, loved just exploring their enviroment and literally the easiest 2 year old boys that I’ve met!

Love this family! I’ve know them for quite awhile and while this combined with the fact mom is a photographer as well made out session harder, we still had fun This did solidify the fact that I’m mentally not quite ready for a boy, lol. If it’s not obviously, I’m totally LOVING the urban options in the city. And the fact that there are trains in the area, *Heaven* for so many little dudes! I had the pleasure of meeting this adorable family when they were in Phoenix visiting family members. Mom is a photographer and we hooked up for a fun family trade session. Little D suffered from a case of PCS without a doubt….Photographers Child Syndrome….which is well known around this house as well! Despite that we had some fun and captured a few smiles in the process.
